Funding Available for Water Quality and Wastewater Infrastructure Projects
The Utah Division of Water Quality's (DWQ) Clean Water State Revolving Fund Loan Program (SRF) will receive approximately $20 million dollars as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) to fund water quality and wastewater infrastructure projects in Utah. A portion of the funding will be targeted toward green infrastructure, water and energy efficiency, and environmentally innovative projects. 50% of the funds must be used for grants and the remainder will be loaned out. The Clean Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) is administered by the Utah Water Quality Board through the staff of the Engineering Section of the Division of Water Quality.
